Mutya & Singer/ Actress — Rosemarie de Vera is Back in Town to Promote Philippine Heritage & Pangasinan Native Crafts and Travel in the US
Manila, Philippines — She was seen in movies in the late seventies up to the 1980’s and was a perennial leading lady to top Action stars of that time like Fernando Poe Jr, Ramon Revilla Sr., Rudy Fernandez, Lito Lapid, Jun Aristorenas & Anthony Alonzo (to name a few) acting in classic action flicks such as Vendetta, Sierra Madre and Sambahin ang Ngalan mo, which came later on after winning Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism in 1980 & bagging first runner up in the Miss Asia Quest the following year, she later became a Singer & a recording artist under then Vicor records.
She Visited last year for the 50th Year of Mutya ng Pilipinas.
After Her Show in the US just recently opening up for Earth Wind & Fire called “Love of Country” Rosemarie de Vera is back in town to do her mission in Pangasinan, to bring in Native products for a Travel, Trade and Consumers show to the US scheduled in August, a project of Asian Journal in cooperation with E.C. Ferrer Custom House Brokerage, Inc. and America Pacific Lines, Inc.
She moved to the US in the 90’s and is married to Dr. Giovanni Javier & they have Four Children.
Asked if She is interested to get back into acting, It depends if there are projects that will come in, I just might, she added.
She now does marketing job for e.c. ferrer Customs Broker Inc. in Long Beach California.
