Manila- These Actors were born between 1963 and 1977 and grew up into the 80’s and 90’s probably observing the social and political landscape of the country during the Marcos regime, (the time of the golden years of Marcos as some of our elders call it.) martial law & the downfall of strongman Ferdinand E. Marcos up to the grueling & uncertain political reign of the Aquinos when they handed the country to the Oligarchs.
With Monsour del Rosario (born, 1965) being the oldest and Yul Servo (born,1977) the youngest; Robin Padilla (born, 1969) and Raymond Bagatsing (born, 1967) following in between.
They come from a generation now referred to as GenX, will they make a difference? and help release this country out of the quagmire? a country devastated by older politicians who call themselves public servants? with the exemption of the Duterte administration who did exactly the opposite compared to past administrations.

Robin Padilla comes from a generation of a political clan in Bulacan & Camarines Norte.
His father Roy Padilla Sr. served as vice-governor of Camarines Norte in the 1970s and assemblyman in the 1980s, his half-brother, Casimero, succeeded in their father’s political work, serving as a union leader, a congressman, and a three-term governor of Camarines Norte.
Education: He finished elementary at Sienna College Quezon City, and the early part of high school at St. Louis University Boy’s High in Baguio City and later at Muntinlupa while he was serving a prison term, Robin took a course in B.S. Criminology right after his release in prison.
Advocacy:
Padilla is an anti-malaria advocate since 2004 for the Department of Health’s “Anti Malaria Movement. ”
In 2007 Robin founded the “Paaralan ng Liwanag ng Kapayapaan” (PLNK), a school for Christian and Muslim children.
He donated 2.5 million Philippine pesos to the Muay Association of the Philippines also in 2007.
In 2019, Designations of Muslim public cemeteries in many provinces across the country, in Luzon, Visayas, and Metro Manila was intensified in a campaign completed a few years back by Robin when he solicited donations of lots & cash to buy lands for Muslim graveyards and also donated his own land in Bulacan for the same purpose.

Monsour del Rosario:
Education: Humanities & Social Sciences, De La Salle Taft, Manila
A martial artist, producer, and politician.
An Olympian, He is Philippine Taekwondo Association’s Secretary General and a Philippine Olympic National Sports Association Martial Arts Council member.
He served as a city councilor from the 1st district of Makati from 2010 to 2016 and later as congressman representing the same district from 2016 to 2019.

Yul Servo served in three terms as a city councilor in Manila, and later elected to the House of Representatives of the Philippines in 2016, representing Manila’s 3rd District.
Running for vice mayor of Manila in the 2022 under Asenso Manileño, Yul is a public servant who cannot be swayed by the majority.
Servo, was one of the actors who appeared on some of the programs of ABS-CBN, but was among the 70 representatives who voted "yes" to "kill" (reject) the franchise renewal of the embattled network.

Raymond Bagatsing:
Also comes from a political clan being the grandson of former Mayor Ramon Bagatsing who is known for his anti-graft and corruption advocacies while serving as Mayor of the city of Manila for 5 years during the Marcos era.

Raymond Bagatsing will be running for the first time following in his Grand father’s foot steps, and will face off against incumbent (Manila’s third district representative) Yul Servo vying for the second highest seat in Manila.
Bagatsing filed his candidacy for Vice Mayor on October 8, joining the band wagon of celebrities aspiring for a government position.
